Fire interface
The fire alarm interface is connected to supervised input FAI-1. Door release on fire alarm is a life-safety function and requires a witnessed commissioning test against the approved test script.

RS-485 reader devices are arranged as a daisy chain. The final device requires 120 ohm end-of-line termination; star wiring is not permitted.
