TB-031.1

Symptom

Source section

Reader devices may briefly drop offline while the controller remains reachable. CRC errors may accumulate slowly over several hours.

TB-031.2

Evidence to collect

Source section

Record reader-bus CRC counters, topology, end-of-line termination location, bus voltage and timestamps. Export a support bundle before restarting the controller where practical.

TB-031.3

Common cause

Source section

Missing or duplicated 120 ohm end-of-line termination can cause intermittent CRC errors. Verify physical topology against the installation manual before replacing devices.
